Our Club
Fudoshin Martial Arts
A martial arts school from Timisoara, Romania that studies several fighting styles (Shotokan Karate, Ju-Jitsu, Doce Pares, Kick-Box, Kobudo, Gracie Ju-Jitsu) in order to be used not only for self defense but also various competitive fighting systems.
We will show honor and respect to one another when we train or compete in tournaments and we understand that we are primarily fighting ourselves. We will be critical and ruthless with ourselves but understanding and appreciative towards the successes of others and our success is proportional with our efforts and will.
Individual efforts result in the success of our group/club and we must not forget that each student is also a teacher and by sharing our knowledge we will be rewarded with deeper understanding of what we have learnt.
FUDOSHIN MARTIAL ARTS offers a wide variety of courses that teach self-defense and help you keep in shape.
We are proud of the friendly atmosphere in our gym so don’t worry if it’s the first time you’re in a gym or at a course since all members and instructors will make you feel like home, between friends.
Contact us on our e-mail addresses, on the phone or at the gym and we will be delighted to offer details about the gyms, hours and instructors, to describe the courses and to offer advice about which courses suit you best.
Martial Arts courses enhance strength and resistance, flexibility and coordination.
Our courses are open to all ages and capacities and are an excellent choice for learning self-defense.
There will always be motivations to practice: participating in belt/degree exam, being/keeping in shape or competing.
Our courses are friendly, relaxing so come and train with us.
All the members of our team are qualified and experienced, each of them studying and practicing Martial Arts and Fitness for many years.
We are a friendly team that will make you feel welcome.

What does Fudoshin mean?
As many other concepts, FUDOSHIN ( a synonym of MUSHIN ) may have multiple context-dependent meanings. The simplest definitions can be synthesized as“Harmony between body and spirit”” or as ““Uncaring Heart”” in the sense that the spirit isn’t troubled by any external factors.
This concept, presented by Takuan Zenshi, was developed by Miyamoto Musashi and is as an epithet to define a fighter that remains impervious and calm under any circumstances.
