Testimonials

“Initially, I followed the Karate lessons in order to achieve a good physical condition, and also the opportunity to make new friends. Gradually the interest for this discipline and the wish to achieve perfection grew.

What I mean by perfection is not only the technical line of the movements but also: self-discipline, self-control, focus, priorities, self-confidence etc. even after many years of training, this martial art still has a lot to offer. Because of the complex, dynamic, stimulating and refreshing training sessions, now everything is possible! Thank you Fudoshin! Osu!”

“Maybe the opinion of a parent matters. Martial arts are considered a trendy sport, but this is just half of the truth.

In fact, martial arts, be it Karate, Ju-Jitsu, Doce Pares or others may play a big part in our daily lives. To many people, martial arts are a way to exercise if we think that many of us lead sedentary lives. A good deal of people use different methods to lose weight, to straiten the less flat abdomen. Now we have a multitude of techniques, methods, sports which focus on harmonious development. Although martial arts, especially Karate are far superior to the others from this point of view, to develop both the mind and the body but last but not least, discipline. Karate may have a different meaning for everybody. To some, it’s a way to learn how to defend themselves on the street, at school, or in other unpleasant situations because we have to admit to the fact that violence is part of the daily life. Of course this doesn’t entitles us to use force without reason, just because we have it and can use it. We often forget that aggression (be it physical or verbal) can’t receive another response other than a violent one. Unfortunately the world we have to live in is a world of free violence, with or without reason, a world in which one has to know how to defend himself. It’s not right to start a fight, but if you’re in one, you have to know what you must do. To know what you have to do means to apply some techniques, but can someone say which ones are better? At Fudoshin Martial Arts Timisoara they combine different techniques from different martial arts, in order to offer you a wide range of options in an actual fight. To others, martial arts means competition, to prove that you can be better in what you are doing, the possibility of acknowledgement. Not only for children social relationships are very important, thus the ones that are part of Fudoshin Martial Arts Timisoara feel that they are part of the Fudoshin family. To me as a parent, in addition to all the things my daughter Bianca, achieved, the most important would be the confidence in her own strength, and to that I must thank Sensei Stefan Lacatus.”
